E&#8217; un numero posto all&#8217;inizio di una stringa di dati per indicare all&#8217;applicazione <strong>che tipo di dato si sta leggendo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Per esempio \u00e8 possibile codificare il peso di 35,97 kg con codice a barre standard codificando semplicemente il numero 3597, ma durante la lettura l&#8217;applicazione non \u00e8 in grado di sapere se il valore che si sta leggendo sia un peso, un tempo, un prezzo o altro.
