Image: selection of an image to be displayed. You can load a static image from disk, import it from a TWAIN source (such as a scanner) or load it from the Clipart* library. See the working with images section for an explanation on how to manipulate images with Labeljoy.

* Clipart images are not available in the Light version.

Text: this tab enables you to define the text to be rendered on the labels. It is possible to create compound texts containing fixed text and references and display a preview of the resulting concatenated text.

Font: the Font tab enables you to define the font and the text alignment.

Select the font and define its size. Use the additional check boxes to define if the characters need to use the Bold, Italic, underline or strikethrough attributes.

Use the lower controls to define horizontal and vertical alignment, horizontal fitting, wrap text mode, and the rotation of the text within its rectangular area.

Note:
Labeljoy will only show True type fonts out of the list of installed fonts.

Text color: definition of the color of the page element.

Back color: definition of the back color of the page element.
Click the Enable back color check box to enable color definition controls, or leave unchecked to leave the text object on transparent background.

Frame color: definition of color and size of the frame of the page element.
Click the Enable frame color check box to enable color and size definition controls, or leave unchecked to leave the page element with no frame.

Shape: definition of the element shape.

Pagination: The Print on combo box displayed in this tab enables you to define the page(s) on which the element will be printed.
You can also use the Skip first page and Skip last page flags to further refine the element's visibility. Note that these check boxes are disabled if you select the First page only or the Last page only options.
The Printing order combo box enables you to define the element rendering priority in relation to label elements.

Advanced: common tab to all elements that enables you to define the element coordinates, size, rotation, mouse action and name.

Note:
Sizes shown here will be in inches or centimeters according to the Unit of measure setting defined in the General tab of the Option dialog box.
Inch fractions can be entered through a popup menu, as explained in the topic manage inch fractions.
