margins

In this tab you can define visualization options for the printer margins enforced by the selected printer driver.

By showing the printer margins on paper, it will be easier to avoid placing elements outside the printable area of the sheet. Two options are available:

  • Printer margins color: definition of the color used to draw the printer margins
  • Printer margins view: definition of the drawing mode used to draw the lines that define printer margins.

Note:
In some cases the lower printer margin line may overlap the last label row due the printer physical limitation of handling the last part of the sheet of paper. This will reduce the actual number of printable label rows. In such cases you might want to use the automatic layout partitioning function to avoid wasting labels.
