deleting elements

After selecting the element(s) you need to delete, perform one of the following actions:

Using the Cut command: Right-click on one of the selected elements to display its context menu. Now select the Cut command. Using the CTRL+X key combination: press the X key while holding the CTRL key to delete the elements (in these first two cases you are performing both a delete and a copy to the clipboard command). Using the Delete button: Look for the Delete button on the ribbon, in the Clipboard group. Now click the Delete button. Using the Del key: press the Del key to delete the elements (in these last two cases without copying the delete elements to the clipboard).
