LabeljoyNew version
Code 93 was designed as a more compact Code 39: the same kind of value takes less room and reads more reliably. It's used in logistics, by some postal services and on electronic components.

| What it holds | |
| Characters | Letters in both cases, digits and every symbol on the keyboard - no accented letters. |
| Length | Up to 107 characters, where a lowercase letter or a symbol other than space - . $ / + % counts as two. |
| Check digit | Always two check characters, C and K, worked out by Labeljoy. They're in the bars, not in the readable text. |
| Readable text | The value, under or over the bars. |
Characters you can't type. A tilde followed by three digits is the character with
that code - ~009 is a tab - and ~~ is a tilde.
The rest of the settings - text position, quiet zone, color - are in the Barcode section.
| What goes wrong | |
| Invalid characters in input data. | The value has a character Code 93 can't hold, such as an accented letter. |
| Input data too long. | Too many characters for one barcode. |
