Code 32 - also called the Italian Pharmacode - is the barcode on medicines sold in Italy. It holds the medicine's AIC number, and the readable line under the bars shows it with an A in front.

| What it holds | |
| Characters | Digits only. |
| Length | The first 8 digits of the AIC number - a shorter number is filled out with zeros in front - or all 9 with the check digit, as printed on the pack, which Labeljoy checks. |
| Check digit | Always there, worked out by Labeljoy. |
| Readable text | An A, the 8 digits and the check digit: A123456788. |
The bars are a Code 39: the 9 digits are packed into six characters of their own, so a scanner set to read Code 39 only shows those six. Set it to Code 32 to read the AIC number.
The rest of the settings - text position, quiet zone, color - are in the Barcode section.
| What goes wrong | |
| Numeric only data expected. | The value has something other than digits - an A typed in front, for instance: leave it out, Labeljoy adds it. |
| Invalid check digit. | The 9th digit isn't the check digit of the other 8. |
| Input data too long. | More than 9 digits. |
