Pharmacode

LabeljoyNew version

Pharmacode is printed on medicine boxes, leaflets and labels for packaging control: a scanner on the production line reads it to check that every part of a pack is the right one. It holds a single number.

StandardOne row of thin and thick bars: a number from 3 to 131070.
2 TrackBars that reach the top, the bottom or both: a number from 4 to 64570080.
What it holds
CharactersDigits only: one number, in the range of the mode.
Check digitNone.
Readable textThe number, as you typed it.

Pharmacode is read in one direction only, and the number depends on it: printed upside down, the same bars read as another number. The packaging line's scanner must expect the code the way it's printed.

The rest of the settings - text position, quiet zone, color - are in the Barcode section.

What goes wrong
Input data out of range. The number is smaller or larger than the mode allows - see above.
Numeric only data expected. The value has something other than digits.
