LabeljoyNew version
Joy, the AI assistant works online: to answer you, it sends your
request, and the parts of your document it needs, to our assistant service. This page lists what leaves your
computer, what never does, and what's kept.
When Joy goes online. Only once you open the panel. Opening it checks how many
credits you have left; after that, Joy goes online when you send it a request.
If you never open the panel, nothing is sent.
| What a request sends |
| The conversation | Your request, and the conversation so far: your earlier
requests, Joy's answers and what Joy did to answer them. |
| What Joy reads from your document | Whatever it needs for the request: the texts
and barcode values of your elements, their sizes, positions and colors, the names of
your label sets, and the names of the documents you've got open. |
| File names and folders | When Joy opens, saves or exports a file, or reads a
picture or a data file you point it to - and the list of your recent documents, when you ask it to open
one. |
| About your data | The names of the fields, how many rows there are, and the
conditions of any filter. Never the rows themselves. |
| About this copy of Labeljoy | Your license, an ID for this computer and the
computer's name, Labeljoy's version and the language it's in. Our service uses them to check your credits; they
aren't passed on to the AI model. |
| What Joy never sends |
| The rows of your data | Joy can sort, filter and connect your
data, but what's in the rows stays on your computer. |
| Your pictures | Joy knows a picture is there, and its size - not what's in
it. |
| Passwords | Joy never asks for one, and the passwords of a
protected document or a data source aren't sent. |
| Anything you don't ask about | Joy doesn't browse your files or your computer:
it only reads what a request needs. |
Where it goes. Over an encrypted connection to our assistant service, which passes
your request to an AI model to answer it. When Joy draws a picture, the description of the picture goes to a
drawing service the same way. How long our service keeps records, and which providers handle your requests, is
in the privacy policy on labeljoy.com.
| What's kept on your computer |
| The conversation | Only while Labeljoy is open: it goes when you clear it or
close Labeljoy, and it's never saved in your document. Remove this exchange and Clear the
conversation make Joy forget what's already been said - they can't take back what was already
sent. |
| Your choices | The panel's size, whether you've allowed dictation, how it
sends, whether answers are read aloud and with which voice. |
| Labeljoy's log | Notes what Joy did and any errors - not what you asked or what
Joy answered. |
| And also |
| Dictation | What you say goes to an online speech service to be turned into
text. Joy asks before the first time. Reading answers aloud uses a voice on your computer and sends nothing. See
Speaking to the assistant. |
| How is the assistant doing? | Sends only the mark you give, never the
conversation. |
| Emailing support | Joy can open the support form for you, but it asks first:
Email support sends a picture of the Labeljoy window, its log and your
conversation with Joy. |
